Descriptions
One line
Puff is a tiny menu bar pet for Mac that sweats, panics and gets dizzy based on your Mac's real CPU, fans, heat, memory and battery.
Short (about 50 words)
Puff is a small creature that lives in your Mac's menu bar and reacts to what your Mac is actually doing. It sweats when the CPU works hard, panics when it's maxed out for minutes or the Mac gets hot, gets dizzy when an app freezes, and shivers on low battery. Click it to see why.
Long
Most people only open Activity Monitor once something is already wrong. Puff turns your Mac's vitals into a face you notice out of the corner of your eye: a small pet in the menu bar whose moods come from real sensors, not animations on a timer.
Puff reads CPU load, fan speed, thermal pressure, memory pressure, battery, disk writes and frozen apps every few seconds. It sweats when the CPU has been busy for a while, panics when it's been maxed for minutes or the Mac gets dangerously hot, gets dizzy when an app stops responding (and names the app), strains when memory is full and shivers when the battery is low. Click it for a plain-English reason and live numbers.
It comes as a Blob, Cat, Egg or Robot, with Calm, Normal or Dramatic sensitivity. Puff runs entirely on the Mac with no account and no tracking, uses about 2 to 3% of one CPU core, and is signed and notarized by Apple. It costs $4.99 once for the first 200 copies, then $7.99.
